Our Goals

Grow the game in Maryland.

Our organization celebrates the success, tradition, and achievements of Maryland high school field hockey while promoting and supporting student-athletes through training, development, recognition, and competitive opportunities. We strive to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages athletic excellence, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth both on and off the field. Through clinics, showcases, educational programs, and community partnerships, we support the continued development of players, coaches, and officials while expanding the visibility and impact of high school field hockey across Maryland. Our mission is to elevate Maryland field hockey and inspire the next generation of student-athletes to achieve their highest potential academically, athletically, and personally.

Build a community.

To provide a forum to discuss and promote channels of communication between coaches, administrators, and officials while building a strong, connected, and supportive Maryland field hockey community where experienced coaches mentor and inspire future coaches, professional growth and collaboration are encouraged, and leadership, sportsmanship, and the continued development and success of the game across the state are fostered at every level.

Provide niche expertise.

To assist and make recommendations to organizations involved in and affecting high school and youth field hockey by serving as a collaborative resource, sharing best practices, and providing guidance that supports consistent standards, improved opportunities, and the overall growth and development of the game throughout Maryland.

Recognize stand-out players and coaches.

To provide awards and recognition to high school players throughout the State of Maryland at appropriate times, honoring athletic achievement, sportsmanship, leadership, and dedication to the sport, while celebrating the accomplishments of student-athletes and encouraging continued excellence both on and off the field.
