The Field Hockey Coaches Association of Maryland is a non-profit fraternal organization committed to serving high schools across the state of Maryland.

By joining the Field Hockey Coaches Association of Maryland (FHCAMD), high school coaches get access to special events, opportunities to recognize their student-athletes, and chances to network and learn from other coaches across the state.

Our Goals

Promote Connect Support Celebrate

Grow the game in Maryland.

To promote and maintain a viable identity for field hockey in all of its aspects, and to acknowledge it as an important sport for girls and/or boys.

Build a community.

To provide a forum to discuss and promote channels of communication between coaches, administrators, and umpires.

Provide niche expertise.

To assist and make recommendations to organizations involved in and affecting high school field hockey and/or youth field hockey.

Recognize stand-out players and coaches.

To provide awards and recognition to high school players throughout the state at appropriate times.

Meet Our Team

The Field Hockey Coaches Association of Maryland is led by the Executive Committee, which is comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Executive Committee members are nominated by the Nominating Committee and serve two-year terms. If you are interested in serving on the Executive Committee please contact the FHCAMD Secretary.

FHCAMD Committees

Many hands make light work.

One of the best parts of being involved with field hockey in the state of Maryland is the strong sense of community the sport creates. FHCAMD offers tons of opportunities to get more involved with the association and the sport overall.

FHCAMD All-State

Get involved with the FHCAMD All-State process by volunteering on either the All-State Selection Committee or the All-State Banquet Committee.

Membership & Bylaws

Get involved in the FHCAMD's day-to-day functioning through the bylaws and membership committees.

Senior Game

This committee is responsible for securing fields and officials and organizing teams for the annual Senior All-Star Game.
